A lash tint is a professional dye brushed through the lashes after the lift. It darkens them from root to tip, including the fine, pale tips that are usually invisible.

Most people book the two together, because the lift changes the shape and the tint makes that shape visible. On its own a lift can look subtle on fair or blonde lashes.

It is the lowest maintenance lash treatment there is. Once the first 24 hours are done, there is no daily brushing, no infill appointments and no rules about oil based skincare.

It also suits people who cannot commit to extensions. There are no refills every two or three weeks, and nothing to remove at the end. It grows out.

1. Consultation. Lash length, condition and the curl you want are assessed, then the shield size is chosen.

2. You lie back with your eyes closed for the whole treatment. Your lower lashes are covered with a protective pad.

3. The silicone shield is placed onto your eyelid, as close to the lash line as possible.

4. Each upper lash is combed onto the shield and held in place, keeping every lash separated → Separation here is why the finished lift looks even rather than clumped.

5. Lifting lotion is applied to the root and middle of the lashes, avoiding the tips, and left for 5 to 8 minutes depending on lash thickness.

6. The lotion is removed and setting lotion goes on for a similar time → This reforms the bonds in the new curl.

7. Tint is applied and processes for a few minutes, then removed.

8. A nourishing serum is applied, the shields come off and your lashes are combed through.

You are in the chair for around 45 to 60 minutes.

Nothing needs removing. The curl relaxes gradually as your lashes complete their natural growth cycle.

Most clients rebook every 6 to 8 weeks.
